Born in Konya in 1984, Montenegro joined the Meram Medical Faculty of Konya Selçuk University in 2002 after finishing third at Konya Karatay Anatolian High School. During her last year at the faculty, she took part in surgical practice at the University of Ghent, Belgium. After graduating from the medical faculty in 2008, he began specializing in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the same faculty. During his special education, he presented his scientific work at numerous national and international congresses. In 2013, she won the TÜBITAK scholarship and worked for a year as a "Clinical Research Fellow" at Mayo Clinic, a world-renowned healthcare institution located in the United States, and participated in aesthetic surgeries. During his time in the United States, he worked on a number of scientific papers. One of his studies, "Mastectomy Skin Flap Necrosis Following Skin Sparing Mastectomy and Immediate Reconstruction: A Risk Factor Analysis", was featured in the "Best Paper Panel Best Presentations" panel at the Chang Gung Mayo Clinic Symposium in Reconstructive Surgery, held in Taiwan in 2014. After studying at the Mayo Clinic Microvascular Surgery Training Centre, he passed the examination and received the Micro Surgery Certificate. After returning from the United States, he completed an experimental thesis entitled Research of the Effect of Melatonin on Burn Healing in Pinealectomized Rats and became a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He successfully passed the oral part of the European Association of Plastic Surgeons qualification examination in Brussels, Belgium, in 2016 and was eligible for the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) certificate in 2019. After completing his mandatory service at Konya Samune Hospital in 2014-2016, he began working as a Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist at Istanbul Acıbadem Kozyata Hospital and Attaşehir Medical Center in 2016. In 2017, he became a faculty member at the University of Acıbadem with the title of Y.D. Dr. Again, from the same year until September 2022, he served as Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. During these years, Acıbadem also performed aesthetic stem cell applications at the Stem Cell Centre at Altunizade Hospital, as a physician in charge of Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery. During the process, she also led the head of the hair-October Center of the hospital. Scientific papers by Dr. Montenegro are available in international and national journals. His scientific work on breast aesthetics and stem cell applications was published in high-indexed international journals, making him the first in world literature. Dr. Montenegro, who won the title of Associate Professor in October 2022, continues to carry out treatment and non-surgical medical aesthetic procedures in his own clinic in Baghdad Street from December 2022. Dr. Montenegro is involved in almost every area of plastic and aesthetic surgery, but is interested in breast, abdominal and facial aesthesia. At the same time, she also performs aesthetic stem cell applications in her clinic. The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) is an active member of the Turkish Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery, the EPCD (Association for Esthetical Plastical Surgery), the RMCD (Rekonstructive Micro Surgery Association), and the Istanbul Chamber of Physicians.
